Our Client is one of the UK’s successful importers and distributors within Fresh Produce, supplying a varied portfolio of products to retail customers, achieving a high standard of product quality and availability across 12 months of the year. We are excited to offer the newly created opportunity of Senior Commercial Manager to become a fundamental part of the successful supply of product to key UK retailers.


The successful Senior Commercial Manager will work closely with the Head of Commercial  to offer and deliver the highest standard of customer satisfaction. This is a pivotal position at a crucial and exciting time, and offers a commercially driven individual the opportunity to manage a dynamic commercial team, taking ownership of varied Fresh Produce categories and becoming a key member of the senior team.

Responsibilities include;

Oversee the customer dedicated commercial team; guide, develop, and motivate

Build honest and strong relationships with key customer commercial contacts

Manage and develop large product categories with key customers

Oversee the team to ensure commercial expectations are met

Manage pricing, costs, product, and service


We require;

Ability to work within a demanding environment, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and personable team management

Experience gained within a comparable role, having managed key retail customer accounts

Previous management of a commercial team / function, with a positive approach

Fresh Produce experience is essential
