A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We currently offer a rare and senior level opportunity to take ownership of the technical department as Head of Technical and Quality.

The Head of Technical and Quality will operate across 2 sites, with responsibility for a successful level of Managers who’s remit incorporates site technical and site compliance. With a key focus on quality, the successful individual will need to have a hands-on, personable, and motivated approach with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced & demanding environment. Reporting to Director level and working with an array of customers ensuring the most efficient, effective and smooth supply of product, communication and passion for this sector is crucial.
Key considerations & areas of importance include;
Retail customer management to ensure product satisfaction, compliance and continuous successful relationship growth
Achieve specific targets and KPIs set on technical issues to ensure customers are satisfied at all times
Manage an effective and successful team

We require;
Confidence and capability within a Fresh Produce packing environment
Previous management of and/or exposure to customer accounts, with a thorough understanding of UK retail expectations
Knowledge of technical and quality requirements to include; BRC, HACCP, Internal Auditing, Product Specifications, and the highest product quality standards
There will be some travel involved, so an element of flexibility is key.

Salary is competitive and will be dependent on the level of experience offered
