Overview

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking an Intake QC to strengthen their quality team at an integral time of expansion.

Reporting to the Intake & Ripening Manager, the successful Intake QC will ensure that all product is checked on arrival against customer requirement, with any issues reported on and dealt with efficiently and effectively. Working closely with production, effective communication is key in this position and the ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.

General responsibilities:

Monitor the quality of product on Intake
Ensure traceability is completed accurately
Ensure product meets customer expectations
Generate reports and documentation, with attention to detail

We require;
Experience in the Fresh Produce sector (Soft Fruit exposure highly advantageous)

Experience in a QC / Quality Control / QA / Quality Assurance position
Understanding / knowledge of Quality systems and procedures

Excellent communication skills and an approachable manner

Ability to work as part of a team & use own initiative

Hours; 4-on – 4-off; 6.00am-6.00pm

Salary; £21-22k
