Overview

We are currently seeking an Intake QC / Quality Controller for an established and successful Fresh Produce storage and distribution provider, who deliver product from worldwide growers and importers to the UK wholesale markets.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will ensure that all product is checked on arrival against customer requirements & expectations, with any issues reported and dealt with efficiently and effectively. Working closely with colleagues, strong communication is key in this position and the ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
General responsibilities:
Monitor the quality of product on Intake
Ensure traceability is completed accurately
Ensure product meets customer expectations
Generate reports and documentation, with attention to detail

We require;
Experience within the Fresh Produce sector, in a QC / Quality Control / QA / Quality Assurance position
Understanding / knowledge of Quality systems and procedures
Excellent communication skills and an approachable manner
Ability to work as part of a team & use own initiative

Driving Licence required, with travel between sites

Hours; Days; 5 days out of 7 on rota
Salary; £22-25k, dependent on experience offered
