Our Client is a successful Supplier of Fresh Produce to an array of customers worldwide, belonging to one of the largest Fresh Produce Groups in the world. We currently offer an excellent opportunity on their behalf to join the business in a new role as Junior Account Manager / Commercial Assistant.
The position of Junior Account Manager / Commercial Assistant will gain the opportunity to work with the Commercial Director and assist in the management of Retail customers, providing support with a key focus on;
Managing sales forecasting & support team members to achieve daily product allocations
Work with colleagues to manage price negotiations and manage weekly offers
Building & maintaining key retail customer relationships
Meeting order requirements / achieving sales budgets
Communicate across supply chain & procurement
Supplier contact when required
We require;
A confident individual with the ability to communicate at all levels and build successful relationships
Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG sector exposure is key to success in this position
Proven Commercial / Supply Chain / Forecasting experience
Excellent organisation, numeracy, and IT skills essential
Driving Licence / access to transport is required
Salary; Up to £25k, dependent on experience offered
Benefits; Gym membership, Pension, 23 days holiday + BH
Hours; Monday – Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm, with 1-4 part weekend cover (payment/time off given in return)
