Our Client is a dynamic, innovative, and established Fresh Food business, currently achieving high levels of sustained growth across their category. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Junior Buyer.

The position of Junior Buyer will report to and work closely with the Procurement Manager, to ensure the efficient and timely procurement of raw materials and packaging.

Responsibilities include;

Assisting with the Procurement of raw materials, packaging, and the management of trays & pallets

Complete customs paperwork and maintain procedure knowledge

Stock Control management, reducing waste where possible

Work with colleagues to resolve crop & production issues

Managing quantities & delivery information / schedules

Support Managers as required

This in an integral part of the team and requires a driven & energetic individual who is seeking the opportunity to join a successful and fast paced business. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of products within the Fresh Produce sector.

We require;

Experience within a Procurement / Supply Chain focused position would be highly advantageous

Graduate with relevant Degree / Qualification; Purchasing / Buying, Supply Chain, Business

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build key relationships

Confident IT ability, managing data with attention to detail

Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG sector exposure

Driving Licence

Salary; £25-28k

Location: Kent
