We currently offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate commercially driven individual to join a successful Fresh Produce group, who strive to supply the best produce from Worldwide Growers to UK Retailers. Due to the highly regarded achievement of continued success, we are privileged to offer an exciting opportunity to join the commercial team as a Fresh Produce Buyer.

The position of Fresh Produce Buyer / Junior Procurement Manager will become an integral part of the successful supply of product to key UK retail customers, working with the Head of Procurement on a variety of dedicated soft fruit fruit product category . It is a fantastic opportunity to build on existing procurement / buying skills and passion, with the combined management of suppliers, negotiating prices, managing orders, and being fundamental throughout the supply chain.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking their next position within procurement / buying in the Fresh Produce sector, having gained an introduction, to become an integral part of the team, demonstrating drive and passion for the ever-changing, fast-paced Fresh Produce sector.

We require;

An introduction gained into the Fresh Produce sector, within a procurement / buying / procurement role

Graduate with relevant Degree / Qualification; Purchasing / Buying, Supply Chain, Business considered

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build key relationships

Proficient IT skills, with ERP system knowledge beneficial

Languages would be highly advantageous, inc. Spanish

Location; Kent

Salary; £35k, dependent on experience offered and excellent benefits

Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility as required
