We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product categories within the industry. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about the sector and is now seeking the opportunity to join an expectational business who offer an impressive platform to develop a career within procurement / buying.

The position of Junior Procurement Manager will report to the Senior Procurement Manager, working closely to ensure all aspects of the supply chain are efficient and effective, building key relationships with growers and providing key retail customers with the highest level of service and product possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking their next position within procurement / buying in the Fresh Produce sector, having already gained an introduction.

Responsibilities include;

Assist the Senior Procurement Manager to procure an array of Fruit products

Negotiate prices with suppliers, place orders, and take responsibility for the process across the supply chain
Generate and provide weekly reports in relation to; pricing, waste, stock availability and commercial performance

This in an integral part of the team, and requires a driven & energetic individual who is seeking the opportunity to join a successful and fast paced business.

We require;
An introduction gained in to the Fresh Produce sector, within a procurement / buying role

Graduate with relevant Degree / Qualification; Purchasing / Buying, Supply Chain, Business
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build key relationships
Proficient IT skills, with ERP system knowledge beneficial
Languages would be highly advantageous

Location; West Midlands

Salary; Dependent on experience offered; + Bonus 10% of basic gross salary, Pension.

Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility as required
