Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available with our Client; a Kent based importer who through a strong network of customers, supply the UK retailers with the highest quality Fruit.

We require an experienced Packhouse Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations within the packhouse, with effective team management to ensure quality assurance expectations are met, through to the successful completion of customer orders meeting the required quantities ready for despatch and achieving set deadlines. The position of Packhouse Supervisor requires an individual to be aware of stock levels, rotation, and order status.

We require;

Experience of working and managing a team within a Fresh Produce and / or Food environment

Ability to work in fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines

Fruit quality knowledge would be beneficial

Driving licence preferred

This is a key position within the business and the successful individual will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to motivate the team to exceptional work standards, supplying high quality products.

Salary; c£31k
