Overview

We currently offer the fantastic opportunity of Logistics Administrator on behalf of a leading Fresh Produce supplier, who source Fresh Produce from around the World.

The position of Logistics Administrator will work in a key position to manage the import process and ensure accurate maintenance of shipment advice and stock positions. This position is fundamental to the efficient supply of product and will incorporate the following responsibilities;

Supplier contact; to organise & ensure accurate delivery planning/programs & customs clearance
Daily and weekly administration of key Logistic processes and functions
Haulage & Transport management; booking, invoicing, authorising payments, etc.
Maintain and supply accurate ETA’s, stock, and availability information
Successful relationship building with suppliers is key
Checking Import documentation

We require;
Experience gained within a logistics, shipping, freight position, ideally gained within a fresh Food environment
Knowledge of product supply to retail customers
Attention to detail & precise numeracy ability
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Exceptional administrative skills

Location; Maidstone, Kent
Hours; Monday – Friday; 40 hour week
Salary; Competitive; dependent on experience offered
A full driving licence is essential
