Overview
Our Client is passionate about Fresh Produce, and supply the retail sector with a high standard of Fruit product. We offer an exciting, newly created position on their behalf as Logistics Coordinator / Manager.
This Logistics Coordinator / Manager position will work within a small team to ensure the smooth flow of product from growers through to customers, ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurate, up to date, and all information required is recorded in a timely manner. This is a fast-paced role, that requires an individual that can take responsibility for the communication with overseas growers, shipping companies, 3rd party transport suppliers, warehousing, and storage.
We require a confident individual who has experience within logistics, ideally from the Fresh Produce / Food sectors, with the ability to deal with customs & port entries, shipping & clearing agents, and 3rd party logistics suppliers. With a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a methodical manner, the successful individual will have strong communication skills, and a personable approach.
