A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Supplier to the major retailers and catering & wholesale sectors. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth, to be based at their facility in Essex / North London.
As Operational Trainer, the successful individual will gain the exciting opportunity to join the team based at an impressive purpose built Fresh Produce packing facility in Essex. The position will work to continuously provide a high-level of training, coaching and mentoring, predominantly on the factory floor with Production Operatives, Warehouse Operatives (Intake and Despatch), Quality, Technical, Packaging and Maintenance colleagues.
Key responsibilities include;
Support Managers and other Trainers in delivering Standard Operating Procedures & Policies training across all operation areas
Ensure jobs / roles on the Learning & Development system reflect the individual department needs and core essential training
Advise on specific training requirements for individuals and supporting departmental Managers to identify training needs
Induct all new employees and ensure full training & support is provided in the initial 12 week period
Ensuring that training records are well maintained and compliance training is kept up to date
We require;
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external contacts
Experience of working in a factory / production environment within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG
Previous experience in a training role or holding training responsibilities as part of another position
A training / train the trainer qualification advantageous
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Location; Essex
Salary; £25-35k DOE
