A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Supplier to the major retailers and catering & wholesale sectors. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth, to be based at their facility in Essex / North London.

The position of Operations Manager will take responsibility for the production activities on a dedicated shift, effectively managing a team of c80 to ensure operation/production targets are met.

To include;

Meeting customer orders, achieving target KPI’s

Ensuring the expected high quality of product is maintained

Adhering to Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety laws & regulations

Motivating the team, allocating workloads and gaining the most efficient output

Communicate with Managers and all departments to meet business expectations

We require;

Strong management experience

Previous exposure to an Operational position, working with multiples lines

Experience in a Fresh Produce facility or Fresh Food Production environment

This role is working as part of the management team and requires a ‘hands on’ approach in a fast-paced, perishable environment.

Shift; Days, 4-on – 4-off / 12 hours; 07.00 – 19.00

Salary; £40-50k dependent on experience

A full driving licence is essential
