We offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of an exceptional employer within the Fresh Produce sector, supplying key retail customers with an exciting range of high-quality products. The position of Packaging Assistant will become a key part of the passionate and innovative packaging team.

Reporting to the Packaging Development Manager, the position of Packaging Assistant will become an integral part of a dedicated team to ensure the efficient flow of packaging materials and returnable transit packaging within the business across multiple sites. The position will work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate and effective inventory & stock management, packaging development & design, and identify opportunities for improvement and further success where possible.

We require;
Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure highly advantageous
Previous experience in a Food Packaging management focused position ideally but not essential
Ability to communicate at all levels, working professionally with colleagues, customers and suppliers
Strong IT skills, with the ability to generate forecasts, orders, reports, stock data and work effectively on an ERP system
Forklift truck licence beneficial

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary: Up to £28k
