Overview

Our Client is an established supplier of Fruit products to the UK retailers, and they currently offer the role of Pest Monitor, to begin a fixed-term contract from 1st March 2017 for 8 months. We require individuals for various locations throughout the UK, specifically in the West Midlands, and South East of England.

This position will report to the Trials Manager, monitoring & sampling a range of insect pests, taking responsibility for trap placement, identification, and reporting the results to a high standard. We would be keen to hear from graduates with an interest in Biology.  This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on, practical experience within an established Fresh Produce business.

Previous experience and / or knowledge would be advantageous, with the ability to work alone, using own initiative, and managing time effectively is key to success in this position. Good IT skills to include experience of Word & Excel, and a full driving licence is essential.
