Overview

Our Client is passionate about Fresh Produce and successfully supply a high standard of product to the UK retailers. We currently offer an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Assistant / Administrator to join the business at an exciting time of growth.

The successful individual will report to the Senior Commercial Manager and provide support across the procurement function, working closely with the Procurement Managers.

Responsibilities include;

Process orders, stock data, delivery notes, supplier reports, invoices as requested

Supplier contact to assist in the efficient and timely delivery of product

Manage arrivals, ensuring up to date information is available

Support Managers as required

This in an integral part of the team, and requires a driven & energetic individual who is seeking the opportunity to join a successful and fast paced business. This role offers the opportunity to work across many products within the Fresh Produce / Fruit sector.

We require;

Excellent administrative / support ability

High level of attention to detail & organisation skills

Proficient IT skills, with ERP system knowledge beneficial

Experience / exposure to the Fresh Produce / Food sector would be highly advantageous

An understanding of Supply Chain would be highly advantageous

Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels, with a professional and driven approach

Salary; Dependent on experience offered; £22-25k

Hours; This position will work as part of a team, working Sunday to Thursday.
