Overview

We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of a successful and highly regarded Fresh Produce supplier, who now require an additional member to join their procurement team with a focus on a dedicated product category within Fruit.

The position of Procurement Assistant is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, driven, and passionate individual to join a highly respected supplier to retail customers. With a desire to learn and achieve, the successful individual will become fundamental support in a fast paced environment, contributing to and achieving the highest level of customer service and satisfaction from point of purchase.
Responsibilities include;
Support across the procurement process, from supplier through to customer

Arrange transport as required, working with hauliers and inhouse logistics

Manage arrivals data, ensuring accurate pricing, and generating reports

Create seasonal reviews & programmes for each variety and supplier

Support Managers within the team

We require;
Experience in a Commercial / Procurement support position would be highly advantageous

Exposure to a FMCG environment, ideally within the Fresh Food / Fresh Produce sectors

A high level of organisation, accuracy, and a personable & professional approach
Ability to work with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment

Strong IT skills; Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Salary; up to £24k dependent on experience offered

Hours; Monday – Friday; 8.30-5,00pm
Location; Lincolnshire
