Overview

Our Client is a unique Fresh Produce business, sourcing product to supply an alternative and exclusive product range to the UK market. Due to continued success and growth, they now require a Operations Manager to become a key member of the management team, with a focus on production setups and processes.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this position is unique and not a ‘typical’ Production Management role based within a factory or packhouse, but a focus on leading the team to ensure a strong, positive, and successful relationship with a co-packing partner. Managing a team successfully, we require an individual who play a pivotal, cross functional role with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities;
Be the main point of contact for the co-packing partner, managing performance and building exceptional working relationships
Work closely with  logistics, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure customers always receive a top-quality service
Lead the production department and line manage a team of production coordinators, putting a strong emphasis on coaching and development
Seek to find improvements in processes and systems, helping to implement technology and driving a continuous improvement culture
We require;
An individual with experience in Fresh Produce, with a passion for the sector
Proven successful team management, with a motivating approach
3rd party packer exposure/management would be advantageous
Commercially focused, with supply chain knowledge
Experience with ERP systems is advantageous

Location; London & Kent
Working 5 days out of 7
Salary; £35-40k – dependent on experience
