Overview

Our Client is a unique Fresh Produce business, sourcing product to supply an alternative and exclusive product range to the UK market. They are now seeking a Production Quality Coordinator to work within this passionate business and further develop company growth.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position of Production Quality Coordinator will work closely with their sourcing and operations team, based at their co-packing partners site to manage produce quality, shelf life, and packing processes to ensure customers receive the best possible experience.

Key responsibilities;

Support the operations team in project work, testing and trials

Assess raw material, providing in depth quality assurance analysis

Undertake shelf life testing and contribute to supplier feedback and analysis

Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies and identify and develop processes to improve accuracy

Work closely with the co-packer to ensure full understanding and adherence to quality, packing, and delivery procedures

 

We require;

An experienced Quality / Product / Senior QC, having gained experience from within the Fresh Produce sector

Exposure to QC reports, sample testing, trials, shelf life, and taking ownership of products

Knowledge of the technical standards & product quality expected by customers

Analytically minded with the ability to use data to identify and resolve issues logically

Confident in ability and able to make decisions, working autonomously

Strong IT skills and the ability to use Excel confidentially

Demonstrate drive, passion and dedication

 

Hours; 5 days out of 7, inc. weekend cover

Salary; £23-27k – dependent on experience

Location; This role is based at a co-packing site in the West Midlands.
