Overview

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking a Production Trainer to become an integral part of the training team with a focus on on-the-job support and people development.

Reporting to the Training Manager, the successful individual will take responsibility for delivering the company training strategy to incorporate;
Training for employees; health and safety, product quality & safety and legality
Ensure an effective and timely training plan
Create Standard Operating Procedures
On-the-job support for operations
Inductions for new staff members
Manage refresher training
Training KPI’s

We require;
Experience gained in a training position would be highly advantageous, with on-the-job training and people development considered

An individual from a production / operations background; food production / packhouse / warehouse environments
Experience in Manual Handling, Risk Assessments and creating SOP’s

IOSH Skills

Excellent communication skills, with an encouraging nature

Confident and approachable manner

Salary; c£28k, dependent on experience offered
Hours; 8.00am – 5.00pm, with flexibility required

Location: Kent – A multi-sited role, a full driving licence is essential
