Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors in their sector within the Fruit Industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an excellent opportunity for a QA Assistant to join the business in a key Quality Assurance role to cover a 1 year contract.

 

Reporting to the QA Manager, the position of QA Assistant will join a dedicated team to ensure product quality and product labelling is accurate, working to resolve any issues that do arise in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include;

Assist in the development of new packing processes and quality management procedures

Work with production colleagues to ensure all procedures are being adhered to

Work to customer specifications and packing requirements

Traceability documentation

Corrective Action Requests

Sample collection

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a role within the Fresh Produce sector, to join a dedicated team and become part of a successful business.

 

We require;

Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure (Fruit advantageous)

Experience / knowledge of Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Knowledge of Auditing, HACCP, Specifications, and the importance of meeting the customer’s needs would be highly advantageous
