Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager / QA Manager to join an established Chilled Food Manufacturing business supplying the major supermarkets.

 

With an immediate start, the position of QA Manager offers a great opportunity to join a key player in the industry and become an integral part of the management team.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Technical, the position of Quality Manager / QA Manager will manage and develop a focused small team of QA’s to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food & Safety legislation. This opportunity requires a motivated individual who understands the need to supply a consistent product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction & compliance with quality systems & procedures.

 

We require;

An experienced Quality Manager / QC / QA Manager from a Food Manufacturing background

Knowledge of Quality systems & procedures, HACCP, Food Hygiene, Internal Auditing

Proven success of managing teams, with the ability to motivate and support positively

Allergen, Thermal Processing and Labelling awareness / training

Previous customer / retail experience would be beneficial

A Degree in Food Science / Food Technology

Salary; £35k

Location: Southampton

Hours; 8.00am – 5.00pm, with some flexibility
