We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products.

Due to exciting growth within the business, we currently offer the opportunity to join the technical team in a permanent, full time position as QC / Quality Controller.

The position of QC / Quality Controller will work within the quality team to ensure product meets and exceeds the standards expected of retail customers.

Responsibilities include;

Inspect & report on product at Intake, Packing, and Despatch

Assess & monitor the quality of product against customer specifications

Highlight and report any issues, liaising with teams across the business to find solutions

Set quality control procedures to ensure quality issues are reported at the earliest possible stage

Requirements;

Experience of QC / Quality Control procedures

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel

FMCG / Fresh Produce / Food exposure advantageous

Organised, self-motivated and able to work with attention to detail

Effective communication skills & the ability to work on own initiative

Hours; 5 days out of 7; 8 hour shifts

Salary; £23k

Location; Huntingdon / Cambridgeshire
