We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products. We offer the opportunity to join their growing business and work at their new state-of-the-art chilled food facility in Peterborough within Quality Control.

The opportunities available as QC / Quality Controller will monitor, verify, and report on all aspects of Fruit quality through intake, packing, and despatch, reporting accurately any deviation from specification. Review of stocks during storage and accurate recording of all functions.

Responsibilities include;

Inspect and supervise the despatch of product to customers, to ensure all product & labelling meets the required specifications

Inspection of product on arrival, establishing the quality of product; document & record findings accurately

Ensure any issues are dealt with in a timely manner and reported to senior QC/Manager

Work as part of a team to ensure the department goals are achieved daily

Monitor product quality throughout its shelf life and report any issues

Collect samples for residue testing and customer sampling

Ensure the working environment remains clean and safe

We Require;

Previous experience as Quality Controller / QC / QA within FMCG

Ability to work confidently alone and successfully as part of a team

Good communication, numeracy and attention to detail ability

Drive and passion to achieve goals expected in Fresh Produce

Flexible, highly motivated, and independent

Shift/Hours; 4-on, 4-off; Days starting @ 6.45am / 12-hour shifts

Salary; £20,300 to £25,000 DOE
