Overview

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking an QC / Quality Controller to strengthen their quality team at an integral time of expansion on a Night Shift.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful individual will be confident, with the ability to efficiently & effectively monitor, report on and resolve any product quality issues. Working closely with production, effective communication is key in this position and the ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.

General responsibilities:

Monitor the quality of product
Collate samples for residue testing
Monitor labelling and packaging standards

Ensure traceability is completed accurately
Ensure product meets customer expectations
Generate reports and documentation with attention to detail

We require;
Experience in the Fresh Produce sector (Soft Fruit exposure highly advantageous)

Experience in a QC / Quality Control / QA / Quality Assurance position
Understanding / knowledge of Quality systems and procedures

Excellent communication skills and an approachable manner

Ability to work as part of a team & use own initiative

Hours;  4-on – 4-off; Summer months; Day Shift & Winter months; Night Shift

Location; Kent

Salary; £10.42 p/h
