Overview

Our Client is a successful Grower of Fruit and supply to the major retailers. They now offer the opportunity to become a key member of the business and are currently looking to strengthen their quality team by appointing a Quality Control Supervisor.

The successful Quality Control Supervisor will work closely with and support the Quality Manager to develop and maintain the quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the business, which includes internal auditing to ensure compliance. This position is key  and will monitor, control, and improve the quality processes across the business and final products.

Responsibilities include;

QA team management, to achieve high standards across operations and product quality

Provide quality assessments and ensure specifications are met

Ensure compliance to BRCGS and customer standards

Monitor inhouse quality systems and procedures

We require;
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is key

Previous experience in a Quality Control Supervisory / QA Team Leader position
Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sector exposure would be highly beneficial
Excellent communication, numerical, and literacy skills
An awareness of BRC / HACCP would be beneficial

Location: Scotland

Salary: c£29k
