Overview

Our Client is a leading Importer and Supplier of Fresh Produce to the major retailers. Due to continued growth we are now seeking a warehouse based QC / Quality Controller to join their technical team.

This is an autonomous role and will support the team with all aspects of technical, quality and operational activity relating to Intake quality control.
Responsibilities include;
Product inspection and assessment
Ensure product meets customer expectations
Generate, monitor/update and provide accurate QC information
Develop and maintain an effective & positive relationship with service providers

We require;
Fresh Produce exposure
Experience in a Quality Control position
Knowledge of Fruit and/or Salad products
Good IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Hours; 40 hours a week/Monday-Friday, and weekend cover will be required every two weeks (8am -12pm), with a day off given in the week to compensate.
Salary; Dependent on experience; £20k
