We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products. We offer the opportunity to join their growing business and become a key part of a new project based at a co-packing site in Suffolk.

 

The opportunity of Quality Controller / QC will inspect & assess incoming raw material and report on all aspects of Fruit quality through intake, packing, and despatch, accurately reporting any deviation from specification.
Responsibilities include;
Inspection of product on arrival, establishing the quality of product; document & record findings accurately
Ensure any issues are dealt with in a timely manner and reported to senior QC/Manager
Work as part of a team to ensure the department goals are achieved daily
Manage supplier reports and send within agreed timescales

Ensure the working environment remains clean and safe

 

We Require;
Previous experience as Quality Controller / QC / QA within FMCG
Ability to work confidently alone and successfully as part of a team
Good communication, numeracy and attention to detail ability
Drive and passion to achieve goals expected
Flexible, highly motivated, and independent

 

Salary: £20,300 – £21,500 DOE

Location: Suffolk; commutable from Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Cambridge, Thetford

Working Hours: 07:00 – 18:00 – 4 Days in 7 including every other weekend.
