Overview

Our Client is a successful grower of fruit supplying the major retailers.  They now offer the opportunity to become a key member of the business and currently looking to strengthen their quality team by appointing a Quality Manager.

The successful Quality Manager will manage a team of QC’s to ensure all fruit product is checked and approved to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations. This is a key role communicating between departments on product usage and rotation, managing the team to ensure all standards are met & logged appropriately adhering to customer expectations / requirements and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements;

Previous experience in a Quality Control Supervisory / Team Leader position is essential

Previous experience in managing Quality teams

Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sector exposure would be highly beneficial

Excellent communication, numerical and literacy skills

Attention to detail and accuracy is key.

An awareness of BRC / HACCP would be beneficial

This role would suit an individual at Quality Supervisor level looking to progress into a Management role.  Due to the nature of our clients product base, summer months are very busy to winter months.  This is a full time permanent role.

Salary; c£27k
