Overview

We offer a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, successful grower and supplier of Fresh Produce, who supply first class product to a buoyant customer base, to include the retail arena. We require an experienced Quality Manager to join the business in a key position, taking responsibility for the management of the Quality team and product quality.

Reporting to and working alongside the Technical Manager, the position of Quality Manager offers the opportunity to take responsibility for the QC team and manage the QMS, Health & Safety policies, HACCP, Audits to BRC standard, and liaise with colleagues across all departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include;
HACCP management
Positive team management
Undertake BRC Farm Assurance Audits
Ensure product quality meets expectations

Manage, implement, and continuously improve Quality, Technical, and Health & Safety policies and procedures

We require;
Fresh Produce knowledge & exposure is advantageous / Food & FMCG considered

Experience in a similar QC / Quality Management position
Ability to work and manage in a fast paced environment
Confident BRC, HACCP, Health & Safety knowledge
Field to Fork and Red tractor beneficial

A high level of communication skills
Confident IT skills

Hours; Monday – Friday, but flexibility required

Location: Essex

Salary: £30-35k
