We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products. We offer the exciting opportunity to join their growing business and work at their new state-of-the-art chilled food facility in Peterborough within the Quality team in a key position.

The position of Quality Manager will work as a senior member of the business and will take responsibility for the management of the site QC team, working in partnership with customer technical teams, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities include;

QC Team + QC Trainer Management

Provide Quality updates and reports to all parties

Review and update Procedures, Documents, Policies and Specifications

Maintain the continuous implementation of the Company’s Quality Assurance System

 

A passionate, hands-on Manager with the ability to motivate and encourage the team to achieve personal and team successful, is crucial in this key position.

We require;
FMCG / Food / Fresh Produce exposure, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Proven experience within a Quality / Technical Management position

Confident to deal with growers and customers on-site visits

Excellent Team Leader / Management experience
Knowledge of UK supermarkets / customers

Excellent planning and organisational skills

 

A driving licence is required, due to travel across sites when required.

Salary; £40-50k, dependent on experience offered

Hours; 40 hours per week + flexibility to work additional hours if required
