Overview

We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of a service provider within the Food and Fresh Produce sectors, who supply retail customers with high quality Food products. Due to exciting growth within the business, we currently offer an opportunity to join the production team in a permanent, full time position as Production Section Manager.

The position of Production Section Manager will report to the Shift Operations Manager and will lead and manage the team on shift, positively overseeing the Line Leaders to encourage a proactive approach to achieving daily & shift targets and maintaining quality, and health & safety standards.

Main responsibilities include;

Ensure production teams are utilised effectively to achieve out-put against the production plan

Liaise regularly with colleagues / Shift Managers to ensure efficiencies across all product lines

Achieve daily output, yield, packing efficiency and quality requirements, through Line Leaders

Manage team training requirements, promoting progression positively

We require;
Experience of effectively managing a team in a previous Production supervisory/management role

Exposure to a fast-paced, high-volume output environment within FMCG
Proven success of achieving KPI’s through positive people management

Approachable, effective, motivating and driven management ability

Knowledge of Top seal, Flow wrap or punnet line machinery

Shift / Hours; Days, 4-on – 4-off; 12 hours
Salary; c£32k – dependent on experience

Location;  Kent
