We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join our Client; a Global Group who supply leading retailers with an exciting portfolio of Chilled, Frozen and Perishable Food focused products. We have the privilege of working in partnership with them and offer the opportunity of Senior Quality Manager / Senior QA Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at their new state-of-the-art chilled food facility, dedicated to packing a range of imported fresh products retailer customers. The successful individual will work in partnership with the retail technical team, suppliers, and internal quality / quality teams.

Duties include;

Supplier visits when required

Effectively manage the onsite quality team

Ensure customer specifications are adhered too

Manage a QC trainer, to ensure a training plan for all QC team members

Build and maintain a working relationship with service provider management

Provide reports and quality updates to internal and external customers teams

Confident enforcer of health and safety rules, to ensure a safe working environment

Implementation of the Company Quality Assurance System; identify improvements or preventative measures

We require;

Experience in similar role; Quality Manager, QA Manager, QC Manager

Chilled Food / Fresh Produce exposure in previous positions

Ability to communicate and influence at all levels

Excellent man-management ability

QA/QC knowledge

Strong IT skills

Driving licence

Location; East Midlands

Salary; up to £55k
