Overview

We have the privilege of offering the opportunity of Stock Assistant on behalf of a successful and innovative service provider, working on behalf of key customers within the Fresh Produce sector.

The position of Stock Assistant will work closely with the Stocks & Planning Manager and become a fundamental part of the stocks team to ensure accurate stock records are maintained, enabling the highest level of product use and efficiency. With daily stock checks, management of product location & movements, and resolving any discrepancies with misplaced product, organisation and positive communication with colleagues is paramount.

We require;

Good attention to detail and numerical ability

Previous experience within a stock control / stock management position

Exposure to Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG / Warehouse / Storage facilities advantageous

Manual handling is required, with the ability to work in a temperature controlled environment and working at height when required.

Salary; c£12.35ph

Location; Kent

Hours; 4 on 4 off – 6am to 18.00pm
