Overview

Our Client provides a complete service within the Fresh Produce (Food) sector, working with customers to supply the UK retailers with a high standard of Fresh Produce. Due to continued growth, we offer an excellent opportunity to join the business, being based at their state of the art facility in Kent.

We require a highly experienced Shift Operations Manager to manage the facility on a shift basis, working closely with Line Leaders & Shift Operations Leaders to ensure daily retail customer orders are satisfied to the highest quality standards, whilst adhering to Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety laws & regulations.

The successful Shift Operations Manager individual will take responsibility for the activities on their shift, and will need to be confident in making quick decisions.

This is an exciting & challenging role that requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to build & maintain excellent working relationships at all levels.

Requirements;

Previous experience as a Factory, Operations or Manufacturing Manager in the Food sector is essential.

Strong man management experience is essential

Previous experience in a large operational / production environment

Exposure to a large Food Manufacturing or Fresh Produce facility is essential

Salary; £50-55k Dependent on experience

This role is working as part of the management team, covering a 4-on, 4-off day shift, 7am to 7pm. This is a ‘hands on’ role in a fast paced, perishable environment.
