Overview

We currently offer the exciting opportunity of Stock and Planning Manager to join a successful business who have built a highly regarded reputation within the Fresh Produce sector, working with an impressive portfolio key retail customers.

Becoming a key member of the management team, the position of Stock and Planning Manager will control and maintain accurate production planning processes across 3 sites of the the business, ensuring complete and deliverable scheduling of all products & production lines. This role will manage a team of 23 planners, production and stock administrators to ensure the on time and accurate completion of all works order controls including closing and syncing within Customer SLA’s

Responsibilities include;
Accurately control and complete production related paperwork across all production lines, and stock movement documentation
Provide full communication to the business around volume planning / actuals and ensure understanding of impacts to the plan
Ensure regular Plan Status updates to Production Management Teams
Actively liaise with colleagues on a day to day basis on matters relating to stock, work orders, stock errors
Create a rolling 7 day forecast in ERP using Scheduler tools and customer forecasts / insight

We require;
Experience in a Stock Planning position within Fresh Food / Fresh Produce
Confident and professional approach working with both customers and suppliers
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyse numerical data
Team management, training, and development experience
Knowledge of forecasting & ERP systems
High level of IT skills; Excel essential
