Overview
Our Client is continuing to invest in their successful growth within the premium ambient food arena supplying key UK retailers, processers and food service customers. With a direct supply model, they are now looking to recruit an integral individual into the business as Supply Chain Manager, to take responsibility for and manage their supply from source.
Reporting to the Head of Operations & Supply Chain, and supervising the Logistics Coordinator, this Supply Chain Manager position will become a key member of the team, commanding a high level of communication skills, which will enable the successful management of the supply chain and all elements incorporated, to include;
Management of key relationships with Co-packers / Manufacturers / Warehouses, and 3rd party Logistics providers
Production order processing, planning & forecasting, and adjusting & reporting any key changes in schedule
Taking responsibility for production and stock management to ensure customers’ expectations are met
Oversee sales invoicing process, ensuring compliance with FLO and Soil Association standards
Responsible for the review & sign-off of transport/logistics invoices
Working closely with a wide range of contacts to include internal departments, clearing agents, suppliers/third-party packers, hauliers etc., the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment is essential and will require the ability to build & maintain a strong network of contacts & relationships.
We require;
Previous experience in a similar Supply Chain position, with knowledge of direct supply models
Excellent communication ability, with Spanish language being advantageous
Exposure across supply chain / logistics / forecasting / stock control
Confident ability to work with / organise hauliers & clearing agents
Excellent IT & Numeracy skills, the ability to use systems, spreadsheets, and multitask is key
Salary; £38-42k, DOE
Hours; Monday – Friday (35 hours p/w; core hours 10.00am – 4.00pm)
Location; North London + flexibility to work a combined Home & Office working week
