Overview

Our Client is an established Fresh Produce supplier to the major retailers. Due to internal changes, they now require an experienced Supply Chain Manager.

The Supply Chain Manager position will report to the Commercial Director and will take responsibility for all supply chain, managing the department on a day to day basis and developing the overall supply chain strategy to include tendering contracts, implementing distributor changes and making recommendations on efficiencies. Working with and across all departments, to include Commercial, Procurement, Packhouse & Warehouse teams, the successful individual will be approachable, personable and professional.

This position would be a great next step for an individual who has some previous exposure to Supply Chain and is now seeking their next challenge. It is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a new position and become the point of contact for Supply Chain at the site.

Requirements;

Previous experience in a Supply Chain position

Fresh Food sector exposure preferred / FMCG environment considered

Planning

Forecasting

ERP knowledge / Freshware System Knowledge

Advanced Excel skills
