Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful Fresh Produce business, who are seeking a Supply Planner to join their energetic and passionate Planning team.

The position of Supply Planner will take ownership of the supply planning process within their fruit category, working with the demand plan to offer an actionable fruit supply plan for their Procurement team and Growers, ensuing minimum impact on the packing operations and maximum customer service. The Supply Planner will monitor and report on the fruit stock position across the UK and Import supply chains within the 3-12 week planning window,  adjusting forecasts as necessary and advising all parties of the changes and reasons.

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this position will take ownership and develop the supply plans, looking at short to medium term horizons, and work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure availability of the fruit products are matched to commercial plans and issues are raised and solved.

We require;

Experience in a Supply Planning role, preferably within Fresh Produce or similar sectors

Good understanding of process and continual improvement methodology

Excellent analytical skills and confident to work analytically

Knowledge of forecasting & planning systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Hours; Monday – Friday / 8.00am –  5.00pm, with some flexibility required

Salary; Dependent on experience offered
