Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors within their product categories in the Food Industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team and become an integral part of the department as Technical Assistant.

 

Reporting to and working closely with the Supply Chain Technical Manager, the position of Technical Assistant will work confidently to support the technical team and provide assistance with;

Conformance and Analysis certificate generation

Customer queries & complaints

Supplier data & certificates

Product Specifications

Due diligence reports

Shelf life queries

 

We require;

Experience in a similar Technical Administration / Technical Assistant position would be advantageous

Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy

Organised, methodical, and proactive approach

Personable and team player approach

A high level of communication skills

Confident IT skills

 

The Technical function is a team-based operation and requires the successful individual to work with colleagues, providing support and being an integral member to the team’s success.

 

Hours: Monday – Friday; 8.00am – 5.00pm

Location: Essex

Salary: c£22k
