A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Importer & Supplier to the major multiples. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth, as Technical Manager.

The role of Technical Manager role will report to the Managing Director and will work across the supply of fresh produce products to specific retail customers.

The role will be responsible for; 

Technical management of a key Retail Customer.

Clear interpretation, communication and implementation of customers’ policies on technical, ethical, social and environmental matters.

Technical aspects of product development plan including timely, accurate and successful product launches.

We require;

Fresh Produce experienced individual

Confidence to manage suppliers overseas as and when necessary

Previous management of retail accounts / JS exposure preferred, with other retailers beneficial

Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, dealing with product specifications, and quality standards

Salary; The salary available is flexible, and would suit an individual currently working in a technical capacity, who has been interfacing with suppliers & customers, and is now seeking a role with more responsibility, or a more experienced technical individual who is seeking a new challenge & rewarding role.

Location; Essex / North London

Salary; Competitive; dependent on experience

Hours; Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility
