Overview

We have the privilege of working with an established and ever expanding Fresh Produce Group, who’s portfolio expands into horticulture, fresh prepared, chilled and frozen food products. We currently offer a fantastic opportunity as a Technical Services Manager.

Reporting to Head of Technical, this Technical Services Manager role will provide guidance and on-going support to facilitate compliance with Quality/Regulatory policies, Food Safety Programs (HACCP) procedures and product specifications. Critical focuses are CPP’s, OPRP & PRP’s. Lead an on-site technical function within this chilled food group ensuring all QMS systems are compliant with BRC, customer and legislation requirements.

We require;

Level 5 HACCP and Food Safety + Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills

Proven ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data

Excellent experience using all MS Office Tools

Minimum of 2 years of Food Safety and Quality Management system experience

Knowledge of ISO 22000 FSSC regulations

Ability to drive

Qualified to a relevant food science, food technology or microbiological degree standard.

Practical knowledge of allergen management

Demonstrable experience managing supplier auditors.
