Our Client is a large Fresh Produce specialist, who supply a variety of UK & European retailers. Due to continued growth we are now seeking a Trading Manager to become a key member of the Commercial team.

Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, this position offers a confident, experienced Trading Manager / Trader the opportunity to become a key member of the commercial team, taking responsibility for the development of key customer accounts with long term sustainability and growth at the forefront. With great scope for customer portfolio management, development and expansion, the successful individual will negotiate pricing/tenders, manage customer expectations and work closely with internal teams to promote & strengthen the company’s market position.

Key responsibilities include;

Wholesale & Food Service account management

Gather, analyse and present commercial data

Negotiate prices daily, to reflect market status

Identify new customers & growth areas

Daily trading of Fruit products

Manage sales forecast

We require;
Excellent communication skills with a confident, professional and commercial approach
Driven, passionate, and able to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
Proven success within FMCG and / or Fresh Produce trading
Account management success, with motivation to succeed
Excellent relationship building ability

Hours: 7.00am – 4.00pm / Monday – Friday & weekend cover on a rota basis

Salary; Competitive and reflective of experience level
Location; West Midlands / Worcestershire
